Old Time Radio. This disk contains over 150 wonderful commercials from the
Golden Age Of Radio. Some are for products long gone, while others are names
you'll recognize from today's ads.
You'll marvel at the simple nature of many of the ads,
but you'll also appreciate how effective they were in getting their point
across to the buying public. Unlike so many of today's ads, where you are
hard pressed to figure out what is being sold, these old time radio ads are
crystal clear.
These early radio presentations are true American treasures and are must
listening to for anyone who grew up in that era. For those a bit younger, it
is a window into how your parents and grandparents entertained themselves.
Remember, this was the time before most folks had a TV.

This DVD contains over an hour
of wonderful commercials, shorts and spots which are sure to bring back
memories and put a smile on your face.
Enjoy great vintage commercials like the Classic Bounty paper towels, the
Breakfast Pals, Snap, Crackle and Pop. Remember Beech-Nut baby food, and
Band-aids. The AMC Jeep and Allen Carpet.
Such household favorites, 409 cleaner, Abolene, Crest toothpaste and let us
not forget the Fischer Training Table Bread, "The Official Bread of The New
York Giants". Folgers coffee, Gold Medal flour and Joy detergent. I'm still
drinking Folgers today.
The Coca-cola ad spots from The Adventures of Kit Carson with Hank Peterson
as the Coca-cola spokesman.
We also have a musical short illustrating how Lucky Strike chooses and
processes tobacco which features Frank Sinatra, Kay Kaiser and more. Watch
the tobacco auctioneer at work.
Are you still eating those yummy Nabisco cookies, I know I am. Shaving with
Norelco and remember putting Old Virginia apple butter, sauce and preserves
on our food. I am still baking with Pillsbury Deluxe Golden Yellow cake,
using Scotties tissues with the magic oval and NyQuil. Remember when Sweeta
concentrated came out.
All of us in warmer climes remember that first window air conditioner, bet
ya it was a Westinghouse room air conditioner with panel air or one of the
sliding window units. And don't forget Westinghouse's wonderful Traveler's
Choice 66 shorts. We have a great one for you.

Production Notes
Source Material:
Please note that the
DVDs/CDs whether video or audio are produced with the original
film footage or audio stock. We have deliberately left in all
the slight imperfections which adds to the nostalgia, charm and
wonder of these vintage DVDs and old time radio shows. All are
compiled from public domain sources.
Packaging:
Our DVDs are produced
and then packaged in full size DVD cases for easy storage with
your other DVDs. We do
not use plastic CD style or slim line cases.
Video DVDs:
The DVDs are designed
to play on all home and computer DVD players, they are region
free, NTSC productions. We use only high quality DVD media to
maximize compatibility. The vast majority of DVD players work
fine with our DVD discs. Still, there are some that may
experience problems, this compatibility issue does exist for a
small percentage of older DVD players in use today.
Radio Show CDs & DVDs:
The MP3 CDs and DVDs
are playable on any computer with a DVD/CD drive and an MP3
player such as Window Media Player. The CDs will also play in CD
players which accept MP3 files. This includes both home and auto
players. Also, we've found that many DVD players will play MP3
files. The individual episode files have been left accessible so
that they can be transferred to portable devices or CDs for your
convenience.
How

We ship by
USPS Priority Mail for a number of reasons. Our customers enjoy
quick delivery of their purchases; we have a means of tracking a
package in the rare case of a shipping problem; and most
importantly, YOU have a means of knowing that your purchase has
been mailed and YOU can also track it. All DVDs come in DVD
cases, just like you get at the store. We do not use plastic CD
style or slim line cases.
