Our America, He's The Green Hornet
The Green Hornet began its radio appearances in January of 1936 and
continued until December 5, 1952. The episodes were about thirty minutes
long and were scheduled twice a week in the early years, but changed to
being broadcast once a week until the very last year of the show when it
resumed its twice per week schedule. This is another of those Old Time Radio
gems where more episodes have been lost to time then remain.
The Green Hornet was set up to be a modern day Lone Ranger, in fact he
was the great nephew of the Lone Ranger. The main character's alter ego was
Britt Reid, a successful newspaper publisher of the Daily Sentinel.
The Green Hornet utilized his car, the Black Beauty in his crime
fighting. He also used a gun which fired a knockout gas instead of bullets.
Assisting him was his Filipino valet, Kato.
There are over 65 episodes
and better then 33 hours of extraordinary crime fighting and mystery
contained on the CD.

The DVDs are designed
to play on all home and computer DVD players, they are region
free, NTSC productions. We use only high quality DVD media to
maximize compatibility. The vast majority of DVD players work
fine with our DVD discs. Still, there are some that may
experience problems, this compatibility issue does exist for a
small percentage of older DVD players in use today. |

Radio Show CDs & DVDs: |
The MP3 CDs and DVDs
are playable on any computer with a DVD/CD drive and an MP3
player such as Window Media Player. The CDs will also play in CD
players which accept MP3 files. This includes both home and auto
players. Also, we've found that many DVD players will play MP3
files. The individual episode files have been left accessible so
that they can be transferred to portable devices or CDs for your
convenience. |
